My name is Gwen Salcido and after a few years off from blogging, I am returning to something that once gave me great passion. I wrote for a few years before God blessed us with our son who we had prayed for for nearly 6 years before he arrived. Since then we have had our third baby who is already going on two.
A little bit about me for those of you who are new here. I graduated from ministry school in 2017 and have partnered with various ministries since. Some of my favorite partnerships have been in women's ministry, deep rooted Bible studies, dance/flag worship ministry and basically anything that involves the teaching of biblical literacy. I call Real church my home church and have been there for about two years now.
I am married to the most amazing man, Luiz who loves the Lord with such an uncompromising faith it encourages and challenges me daily. I have a beautiful step daughter who I am so blessed to have been gifted with. In the words of Bianca Olthoff, she's my bonus child. As previously mentioned, we now have two more amazing babies, who are 4 and nearly 2.
This Blog came from a calling that the Lord had placed on my heart a few years ago (check out the "about the blog" page to hear more on that). My main goal is to help new believers on your journey in finding your identity in Christ and encourage you to believe the promises the Lord has for you when you fully surrender to Him. Here you will find some topics that were really hard for me as I first transitioned into my own faith and as we go along I hope to cover some deeper topics that will hopefully even challenge the more mature Christian as well. I hope this Blog is a blessing to you and an encouragement.
