My name is Gwen Salcido and I'm new to the blogging world.  I graduated from ministry school last year and have been working with various ministries in the mean time.  I am a co-founder of Unveiled dance ministry where we challenge women to worship the Lord on a more intimate level.  I work in various children's ministries and women's groups here in Midland  Texas and try and serve wherever I am needed.

I am married to the most amazing man, Luiz who loves the Lord with such an uncompromising faith it encourages and challenges me daily.  I have a beautiful step daughter who I am so blessed to have been gifted with.  In the words of Bianca Olthoff, she's my bonus child.  We have been battling infertility for 3 years now but have faith that in God's time we will either adopt or birth additional children. 

This Blog came from a calling that the Lord had placed on my heart a few years ago ( check out the about the blog page to hear more on that).  My main goal is to help new believers on your journey in finding your identity in Christ and encourage you to believe the promises the Lord has for you when you fully surrender to Him. Here you will find some topics that were really hard for me as I first transitioned into my own faith and as we go along I hope to cover some deeper topics that will hopefully even challenge the more mature Christian as well. I hope this Blog is a blessing to you and an encouragement.
